Help: Scatbooru rules
TL;DR: Don't upload CP, loli, shota, cub, animals, real people, try to upload the original file (not downscales or sample images), and tag & source your uploads. See below for details.
Post quality & standards
Quality: We have a fairly low quality bar given how niche our area is. Very low effort MS paint drawings and edits are not permitted but in general as long as a human has put some real and genuine effort into something, it will likely remain. We do not wish to discourage budding artists. AI generated content is, however, held to higher standards.
Uploaded images are original quality: Whenever possible upload the full resolution version unaltered directly from the source. We do not want downscaled resamples. The only exception to this is when the artists themselves have posted a lower resolution preview – as is common practice with paywalled content.
Tagging:
Simply type what you see in the image, with underscores instead of
spaces in multi word tags. At minimum you want to tag the artist,
characters, series, and the basics of what is happening in the image.
You want to ask yourself who is in the post, what are they doing,
what do they look like? And so on. You want to aim for at least 10
tags but more is always better.
If the post is already up on
another booru style site such as rule34.xxx or e621, then you can go
into the edit post section and copy paste over most of the tags
quickly and easily. Our own aliasing should fix a lot of the tag
translation between the different sites.

Comics & large image sets:
We allow for short comics and small image sets less than 20
pages/images long. We are unfortunately not equipped to handle large
pools of content like comics and large variant sets. As an
alternative please upload the comic cover with the tags of its
contents, and link its off-site source such as e-hentai (preferred
source). In the case of image sets please upload only the relevant
ones up to the 20 image limit, and link the full source in the same
way. Please make use of the comic and image_set tags in these posts.
This rule is not aimed at normal pools of images or anything that has a parent/child post, but large galleries, artist CG's, and game CG's like e-hentai.org/g/3952956/7261dcdaf8/ for example.
Sequences: Many images come in small sets, such as a character sitting on the toilet in one image, peeing in the next, and then shitting in the next one, and so on. Whenever possible please upload the complete sequence with its alts, even if they contain no relevant content.
Non-scat content: Scat tends to have significant crossover with related kinks (many of which might not have their own boorus) so we also broadly allow the following on scatbooru:
- Ambiguous toilet use (such as a character sitting on the toilet)
- Farts
- Piss
- Diapers
- Vomit
How to get verified so that you can upload?
This can be done by talking to us on Discord, or sending an email to [email protected] from the email registered with your account. I strongly suggest using Discord, as it will likely result in a quicker response, and is also easier for us, however the email is there if you need it.

AI generated content
AI generated content is allowed but held to higher standards. You MUST tag all AI generated posts with the ai-generated tag. If the content has any noticeable anatomical errors (extra fingers, overly smeared details, or just looks "wrong") then it will likely not remain on the site. We also do not permit fully censored AI posts.

Under 18's (loli, shota, cub)
Underage characters are prohibited. We do not use canon age or other outside information and instead judge each image on a case by case basis. This means that canonically underage characters who do not appear to be underage (or that have been aged up) are allowed. We do our best to follow the law on this one, we aren't going to remove posts just because a character has small boobs, is petite, size difference between characters, or for wearing a school uniform. We try to ask ourselves "Can an adult look like this?" and "Could the law see this as a child?" when making the final call on images like this and tend to err on the side of caution rather than risk the site as a whole.
As a general rule, if its tagged loli/shota/young/cub on another site, then it will probably be removed.
The mere presence of an underage character (such as in the background) does not immediately prohibit it, as long as they are not directly involved (such as being shit on for example) then the post may remain.

Animals (Bestiality, Zoophilia, etc.)
We do not allow the uploading of animals/bestiality. This includes insects and "ferals" - intelligent or not. Animal-like pokemon can fall under this rule, as do ponies from MLP when depicted in their animal-like pony forms.
This does NOT include furries/anthromorphic animals that walk on two legs.
As with the above rule on under 18's, images where the animal is not actually involved (such as in the background, a fly landing on poop, etc) are allowed. Again, if in doubt please contact a moderator about any images you are unsure of via Discord.
Real people & IRL content
We do not allow real content on the website, including deepfakes and edits. We are an art site, if you want to see real stuff then there are other websites for that. Realistic artstyles (including AI gens) are a borderline exception.
